ATLANTA November 6

We will meet in Penny's art studio behind her house.

This is a private session that Penny is doing just for us in her Decatur home art studio. She has devised a unique method of creating, destroying, and rebuilding that she has shared with many people including cancer survivors and their families, Kate’s Club children who’ve lost a sibling or parent, and more.

No previous art experience is necessary to have fun learning to collage with wax. You will learn some of the basics of using encaustic and will create a healing piece (peace) of art for yourself that you will take home at the end of the session.

Supplies and tools are provided and you will be taken through a step-by-step process to create your artwork. Wear old clothes and shoes since you may get waxy! The cost is $45 payable to Penny Treese before the session. Minimum of 5 participants due to the need to purchase supplies. Space is limited to 10 for this event.

Encaustic may sound intimidating but it's much easier than you might think. It's easy, fun and an opportunity to process our loss in a compassionate community of fellow widows.

Please RSVP at this link and payment information will be emailed to you.
