I can totally relate. My issue is fear and anxiety and it has been so bad that my body has frozen up – I can barely walk now. So, after 4 years (that’s how long I have been widowed), and many therapists, docs of all kinds, anti-anxiety meds, I did finally find a solution. I was introduced to tapping (EFT), which actually helps re-wire your brain. There are a lot of good videos on it, and lots of good therapists who can work with you – if you wish. I’ve been doing it for a little over 2 months and my fear/anxiety levels have gone down considerably.

I rarely give advice and so take this for what it’s worth – and if it makes sense then check it out. My best to you and I hope you find the help that works for you.

Thank you so much for your honesty and openness about your EMDR session. I had a couple of those earlier this month and they took me to my knees. I feel like I’m finally regaining my equilibrium, and will probably do some more sessions over the next months.

My husband made his transition in June 2013, and we were married for 34 years, so I am relating alot to your posts. Like you, I also believe we will get through this and be stronger on the other side.

Holding all of us in love and light,
