Kelley Lynn, you just may have saved me. I lost my husband of 45 years 3 days ago to a tragic accident. I am at that embryonic state of shock and grief where I feel I will never ever experience joy, love, or life again. I am surrounded by loving family, friends, a grown extraordinary son and daughter-in-law, and 2 perfect little grandchildren. Still…I am dying inside. I hope in time I will learn to breathe.

    Jessica, I
Ost mu my husband of 45 years 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. I am much older than you, and I have learned this in life and in his death..there is no right way to grieve. Don’t fake anything. If your friends or family don’t get your frame of mind..shame on them. If your grieving continues like this in two years, OK, then you need some professional intervention. Although professional help is never a bad idea if YOU feel you need it. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Please don’t let others judge you.
